Cricket NSW will be conducting “The First Hour” Seminar at the South Grafton Ex-Services Club on Tuesday 2nd March from 7 to 8.30pm.
The Seminar will feature current Speed Blitz Blues Fast Bowler bowler Aaron Bird and former NZ opening batsman Bruce Edgar. They will be discussing “The First Hour” of a cricket match from both multi day and limited over perspectives. “The First Hour” of any cricket match is vital. The team who wins the first hour, will set themselves up in a position of dominance.
Aaron, a North Coast junior, has played over 40 matches for NSW and was runner up to Phillip Hughes in the 2008-09 Steve Waugh Medal for NSW Player of the Year.
Bruce played 39 Tests and 64 One Day Internationals for New Zealand, facing Dennis Lillee, Jeff Thomson and the West Indies fast bowling attack of Holding, Marshall, Garner etc at their peak .
This seminar provides a tremendous opportunity for all coaches, captains and any aspiring batsmen & fast bowlers from age 13 upwards to upskill themselves.
The cost of attendance is $20 for accredited coaches and students and $30 for all others.
An information flyer and enrolment form are also attached to this email. Please complete and return the enrolment form if you wish to attend.
