RTA SpeedBlitz Blues Fielding Coach Gavin Fingleson will be conducting a Fielding & Throwing Seminar at the Power Education SCG Indoor Centre on Monday 10th November from 6.30 to 8pm.
Gavin was a member of the Silver medal winning Australian baseball team at the 2004 Athens Olympics, and has worked with the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues and NSW Youth teams for the past 2 seasons.
Traditionally cricket coaches have focused on the core batting & bowling techniques often to the detriment of fielding and throwing skills. However, with the increasing importance of one day cricket and the flourishing of Twenty/20 cricket, these are now vital skills to develop in our young cricketers.
This Seminar provides a tremendous opportunity for all coaches to learn from one of leading fielding/throwing experts in Australia.
Gavin will be covering all the major points of fielding & throwing technique, including undertaking a practical session to demonstrate the latest skills and drills.
